Villa Alto is a traditional Madeiran manor house from the late 19th century, from a prosperous family, with a multi-hectare vegetable garden and fruit farm. Today there are 14 individual rooms spread across 4 levels. The manor house was completely renovated in 2002, preserving its original style of classic romantic atmosphere from the harvest years, now including all modern amenities (internet, Wi-Fi, cable and satellite TV, swimming pool, billiards). This is "Island Life" at its best. Stunning views of the North Atlantic ocean to wake up to every day. Situated at the top of the mountain, it is quiet and private. Guests enjoy breakfast each morning provided in the dining room to help you start the day with ease. The nomad apartment is private and has its own balcony landing, a small kitchenette, and a fridge. You have full access to the entire manor's living spaces and eco gardens. Private parking area secured by the gate that is closed each evening. You have your own key access. The manor house has a living and dining room. Relax by the pool and garden and feel completely at home. This stay is completely unique and great for a month at a time. You will need a car to stay here or you can get a bus daily if you prefer. Madeira Island has lavada hikes all over and this stay has them just outside the gate.

Mix up your daily routine and get supercharged by the inspiring setting at your new home office. This coliving offers beautiful, shared areas embedded in nature with stunning surroundings. From workspaces to relaxing corners, you’ll be all set for a wonderful workation. Instead of working from the desk in your private room, you can choose from various working spots indoors and outdoors - there are both cozy nooks and big spaces around the estate. The shared garden has an excellent Wi-Fi signal and you can plug in your devices on the balcony or the terrace. If you fancy working around your housemates, there is a community area with two large tables and enough chairs to sit the whole crew. For important work calls or an undisturbed flow, the guests can use a divider. You’ll have full access to the charming palm garden, fitted with a plunge pool (in summer) and sun lounges so you can relax whenever you like. For the active folks, look no further! The stay offers an indoor sports possibility with dumbbells, ribbons, rollers, mats, and a monitor. This coliving is all about welcoming remote workers into a community that creates memories and connections. In the villa, all guests live together in a shared paradise - not as an all-inclusive fun trip, but rather experiencing a nice and exciting time together. Common expenses can be shared (using the App SPLITWISE), all guests are jointly responsible for cleanliness (they can decide to hire a professional) and everything should be relaxed and stress-free - like living together with newly met friends. In terms of activities there’s plenty to do: you can play table tennis in the garden, or jump around on a trampoline in the garden while listening to your favorite music. In the surrounding area, you can also go hiking, surfing, horse riding, canyoning, paragliding… the list goes on. When one thinks of the perfect workation place, this is what comes to mind: excellent internet, quiet and away from tourists, big garden, great workspace and leisure facilities - exactly what this stay offers. The villa was transformed into a dream of coworking and coliving, where guests can expect to spend a cool, relaxed, and eventful time together. Important: - 7 rooms, max 11 people - MIN stay: 1 week, only possible to book from weekend to weekend. - MAX stay: 1 month (with a possibility to extend after) - The owners can book a cleaner for 60€ for the whole house -There’s a dog who lives in the garden as a property guard and mascot, so the possibility of bringing pets has to be discussed prior to booking - you can send a message to the owner via the “enquire” button at the top of the page. - The owners love to go on hiking tours and know all the secret spots, feel free to join! - 3,5 km to closest grocery store/restaurant - A car is required to get around easily, BUT one of the biggest advantage is that cars are already provided and can be shared with all the other guests. 99% make use of this advantage
