Description

Set in one of the most beautiful corners of Tuscia and Italy, this apartment offers the rare chance to truly experience the magic of an authentic Italian borgo — a timeless village immersed in history, nature, and local life in a way that very few places in the world can still offer. It is the perfect destination for those who love outdoor activities and unspoiled landscapes, but also for travelers drawn to art, history, and the discovery of breathtaking places in one of Italy’s most fascinating — and still partly undiscovered — regions. In summer, guests can also enjoy the unique local festivals held in Barbarano and the surrounding villages. The space Recently renovated and located in the heart of the historic village, the apartment is equipped with every comfort. Free parking is available just outside the village walls, only 200 meters from the house. The apartment features a quiet double bedroom, a spacious kitchen-living area with a double sofa bed, and a video projector with a large screen, including Disney+ and Prime subscriptions, with a charming view over the village’s main street. There is also a small study with a single bed and a pull-out bed. Please note: the study is a passage room leading to the bathroom. Only 200 meters from the house, you can step straight into the woods and access countless trails leading to Etruscan necropolises, waterfalls, and caves, some to explore on foot and others by bike. From here, you can also begin and complete the Walk of the 3 Villages, the smallest walking route in Italy. Within the village itself, you will find a supermarket, pharmacy, post office, tobacconist, bars, restaurants, and 2 museums, where you can also ask for information about local walks and excursions. Organized tours, including horseback riding experiences, can be arranged through the owner of the village restaurant. The apartment is just 15 minutes from Sutri, Capranica, Lake Vico (where swimming is possible), and Ronciglione; 1 hour by car from Rome; and 30 minutes from the sea, Viterbo, Tarquinia, and Lake Bracciano. It is also less than 1 hour from the Park of the Monsters in Bomarzo, Lake Bolsena, and the stunning Civita di Bagnoregio.
