Remote Retreat up in the North - Kvikkjokk, Swedish Lapland Offering a unique remote work experience above the Arctic Circle. We offer a cozy room in our wilderness camp in Kvikkjokk along the famous Kungsleden trail in Europe's last wilderness. Location & Environment: Located in pristine Kvikkjokk, Swedish Lapland Situated directly on the historic Kungsleden hiking trail True wilderness experience with stunning Nordic landscapes Active sled dog camp with our furry family members Accommodation Details Private room (7-8m²) with comfortable bed and dedicated workspace Reliable high-speed internet via Starlink Shared facilities: kitchen, shower, and WC All utilities included (electricity, heating, internet, laundry, waste management) Optional meal sharing/catering available by arrangement Community: Small international community of 3-10 people (varies by season) Mix of hosts, volunteers, holiday guests, and adventurers Vibrant yet peaceful atmosphere Camp activities and dog sledding experiences available Important Considerations: Very remote location (120 km to nearest shop) Limited transportation (one daily bus connection) Perfect for those seeking solitude and nature immersion Best suited for self-sufficient individuals comfortable with remote living Two-month minimum stay required Available from January 2025 Price: 600 EUR/month (all inclusive) Important Note: Due to our extreme northern location and unique living conditions, we conduct a brief video call with all potential tenants, to ensure expectations align with the reality of arctic living.
