Must I list prices and deals on StayDirect™?
Yes. Referrals are only made from the prices section of your Stay page which needs deals for a digital nomad to book.
This is known as bottom-of-the-funnel advertising where only nomads ready to book are referred. Your onboarding process is the same as our agency model (BookingFlow) and includes setting up your rooms, their availability and at least one bookable deal.

Do I still need to link my availability calendar?
Yes. StayDirect™ lists the same bookable deals as our agency model (BookingFlow). The deals need availability to be bookable quickly and avoid creating disappointment by digital nomads wanting particular dates.

How is the 1% calculated?
When a member clicks on one of your listed deals they are transferred to your booking page. At that stage we charge your wallet a 1% fee based on the deal the user chooses.
For instance, if you list a deal for $500 USD for a 1 week stay and the user clicks through to your booking page we charge your wallet $5 USD (1% of $500).

Do I still pay a fee if the booking is abandoned?
Yes. Like most advertising models we charge for attracting clients to your offerings. It is up to you to close the client and collect the booking payment.
As we only focus on digital nomads, and your referrals only come from deals you've listed with us you'll find our bottom-of-the funnel referral quality is very high.

Must I have my own booking system?
No.
But you must have access to a booking system or channel manager that can take the booking in line with the deal you list on Nomad Stays.

Can I forward the referral to another platform like Airbnb?
Yes you can.
By doing that though you may be adding additional friction to the booking process as many platforms accept bookings only from their members. This means a Nomad Stays member also needs to log into that other platform to place their booking.

How do you stop spam referrals?
Only registered & logged in Members can see your deals and click through to your booking site. This avoids spammers, hackers and those not serious about booking.

How do I pay for StayDirect™?
You start by funding your member account wallet. There are $50, $100 and $200 preconfigured buttons for you to choose from.
Once funded, and you've finished onboarding, your listing goes live for digital nomads to book. It stays live while you've got bookable products and enough funds in your member wallet to pay for advertising fees.
