CAPARICA has six lodges that accommodate couples and a rustic house for groups. It also has a space for collective moments around gastronomy, music or reading, which is found in a traditional house at the entrance. In its outdoor space there are relaxation areas, an orchard, a vegetable garden and a biological pool.
In the vicinity of CAPARICA AZORES ECOLODGE there are duly marked trails for long or short walks, a golf course, bathing and diving areas, natural parks, fishing ports and viewpoints.
Quinta do Falcão is located in Almagreira, a parish known as the heart of the island, due to its centrality.
Praia Formosa is about 3 km away and Vila do Porto is about 4 km away. The Airport 8km.
It has, nearby coffee shop, about 100 m, and 200-300 m, a mini-market and restaurant, with service of meals and take-away.

From a cultural-historical perspective, Quinta do Falcão consists of a Manor House and adjoining buildings, in a rustic style, dating from the 17th century. XVII, accessible through a large neoclassical portal and a long paved and walled path, built by the 10th Donatory Captain, Joao Falcão de Sousa.
From an architectural-heritage perspective, Quinta do Falcao is a building that is subject, by the Regional Secretariat for Education and Culture of the Regional Government of the Azores, to a procedure for classifying a Property as of Public Interest.
The environment and the stunning nature of Santa Maria are clearly evident in Quinta do Falcão, with the possibility of walks and walks through the Quinta space, through its pastures, woods and stream, with portentous araucarias, in an area of about 8 hectares.
Nooks, such as the floral pergola area, the Mirante adjacent to the road, the area of the old estufim, and a crocket field, the original space of the house, open space for recreation, leisure, reading or mere contemplation.
The space has a privileged panoramic view, to the west, of the Atlantic Ocean.
The entire space guarantees an exclusive reserve and intimacy, endowed with tranquility and serenity conducive to rest and leisure.
Soon, it will have a swimming pool served by a large balcony made of stone and ashlar, which will function as a pleasant space for leisure and contemplation, with a privileged panoramic view, to the west, of the Atlantic Ocean
The Resort has 6 (six) Country Houses and a Reception.
The Reception has a customer service area, providing laundry services, as well as information on services in the areas of tourism, culture, leisure, gastronomy, etc.
The six country houses are made up of 3 types of typology: 1 house with 2 bedrooms (T2), 2 houses with 1 bedroom and a Mezzanine (T1+1), and 3 houses with 1 bedroom (T1), and all with living room, kitchen, and bathroom, fully equipped.
Built-in wardrobes in all houses.
The capacity for T2 and T1+1 houses is 4 people, and for the T1 houses, the capacity is 2 people; exceptionally (especially for children), the double sofa bed can be used.
All houses have free Wi-Fi and free private parking.
Each country house is fully furnished and decorated, including, in the living room, with sofas, dining tables and chairs, a flat-screen TV served by fiber optic wi-fi, a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, a fridge, an oven, an induction hob, a
dishwasher, a toaster, a coffee machine, and kettle, teas, and coffees available, and sets of crockery and kitchen utensils, guests can prepare their own meals in the kitchen.
The WC has a hairdryer and electric towel rail.
We have a laundry service.
The country houses are equipped with electrical appliances and equipment with energy ratings of A and A +, as well as lamps with LED technology, double-glazed windows with thermal insulation, and are covered inside by native wood - the so-called cryptomeria.
We have 7 twin Rooms and 1 triple Room, each one with private bathrooms.
We grow our own chemical-free vegetables that you can prepare to a great meal in the common kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a BBQ place, a flat grill, wood oven and all regular amenities such as a big fridge, coffee machine, microwave, etc.
From time to time, I prepare some local food for my guests and maybe even take them on a sailing trip with my Hobie Cat!
The house is located at the foot of Pico Mountain and the sea, offering a simultaneous view of both.

A very quiet area, ideal for rest, is located between the two main locations of the island (Lajes and Madalena).
At 400 meters there is a small natural swimming pool.
The S. João Forest Park is 2000 meters away. This park offers a picnic area, a maintenance circuit, a hiking and cycling area, and a playground for children, among others.
Near the house, we have one of several pedestrian trails available on the island.
