While you might not notice Bulgaria in the news a lot it has fast become one of Europe's top digital nomad spots. Bulgaria has more than most to offer remote workers and digital nomads within the convenience of Europe. Its absence of Schengen Visas means it has become a good respite country for non-EU residents caught in the 180 day rules and needing to gain Schengen time again (eg USA, UK, Aussies, Kiwis etc.) Hi speed internet runs through the country which combined with historically good education standards in eastern Europe has helped spur the startup industry along in recent years.
