We are a lovely hostal in the picturesque rural beach town of Palomino, in the La Guajira province. We have ten private rooms available, that come with a healthy and abundant breakfast. Free coffee and water are available throughout the day. Though we are located on the main road of town, rooms are silent and our common areas relaxed. Most digital nomads stay in bigger cities because of connectivity reasons. We have found a solution for that and invested a lot in a stable and reliable internet connection (satellite internet, up to 200 MBps). You can work out of your room, or from the social areas on the first or second floor (rooftop terrace). The BEST of working at our place is that you are in the MIDDLE OF NATURE. Before, after or during work, you can ease your mind by going to the beach, one of the many rivers, go for a hike in the woods or mountains, take a yoga course or stroll through town and watch locals and tourists enjoying their day. Praia das Maçãs is known for its golden sands and the mouth of the river that gives it its name. It is said that, in the autumn, the river used to carry many apples from the farms it crossed to the sand, giving the beach its name. The WOT Sintra Ocean belongs to the WOTELS Group, a chain of hybrid accommodations from north to south in Portugal. Located in Praia das Maçãs, Colares, it is 50 meters from the beach and comprises a common living room, a breakfast room, a small interior patio, 24-hour reception and outdoor parking. All rooms have a private bathroom with towels and amenities, with natural light and curtains to ensure the necessary privacy, decorated in a relaxed style providing a cosy atmosphere, Wi-Fi, a mirror and a closet. Next to the beach, there is a saltwater swimming pool, a children's playground and a picnic area. At the ends of the beach, either on the left or right side, there are slabs/rocks where you can fish with some stability. Besides the beach, one of the attractions of this area is the famous streetcar ride. The route starts in the Estefânia area, near the Sintra Museum of Modern Art, goes through Colares and ends by the sea, at Praia das Maçãs (Apple Beach). Azenhas do Mar beach is a 20 minute walk or 4 minutes by car. Take the opportunity to visit the city of Sintra, 20 minutes away by car, you will find Monserrate Park and Palace, Moorish Castle, Sintra National Palace, Pena National Park and Palace, Chalet and Garden of the Countess d'Edla, Vila Sassetti. Lisbon Airport is a 1-hour drive away. Full prepayment is required at the time of booking. A security deposit will also be requested at check-in. Our road is pretty good for any vehicle access, or fly in to vilancoulos, airport transfers provided to our camp if pre-arranged. Starlink is our wi-fi service provider, our co-working space is in the form of an additional chalet We are located 13 KM from Massinga, which can be accessed by taxi, or our guests may take advantage of our weekly food and beverage order which arrives every Tuesday from Sourh Africa. Our camp is accessible for most vehicles, which are for hire at vilancoulos airport. We are located 180 KM from Vilancoulos in Morrungulo next door to Peri Peri divers. Fully occupied the villa has a community of 5 to a maximum of 14 like-minded people. The shared large livingroom with open-plan fully equiped kitchen is perfect for socializing and cooking together. The third floor has a wide hallway with a foosball table that doubles as a small pool/airhockey table, and there are three spacious balconies with stunning sea views. The villa's private garden has a large 10x5 meter heated swimming pool, terraces, pergola dining area, barbecues, sunloungers and room to park at least 3 cars. Designed with digital nomads in mind, this coliving/coworking villa is ideal for mid-term rentals. The villa offers various workspaces, including large tables in the living room, an additional desk in the third-floor hallway, any of the balconies and outdoor seating by the pool or under the pergola. Fast Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, ensuring you stay connected. For longer stays (30+ days) we can facilitate a private working desk in (some of) the bedrooms, for a small additional fee (+- € 100, depending on your wishes). Each of the five bedrooms accommodates at least two people and includes storage cabinets, balcony access, sea views, and air conditioning. Some larger rooms are equipped with chairs, lounge seats, or sofas. Three of the bedrooms have en-suite private bathrooms, with two offering both a bath and a shower. A washing machine is available for free use, making it convenient to do your laundry. There is ample secure parking nearby, so guests with hire cars have nothing to worry about. Al-Madina Bizerte is ideally equipped for remote working. The Wi-Fi is reliable and fast, with speeds between 300 and 450 Mbit/s, allowing several people to hold video conferences or transfer large files at the same time without any problems. There are various work areas in the building – from the in-house café with internet access to comfortable seating areas on each floor and the bright breakfast room, which becomes a quiet workplace during the day. Those looking for a change of scenery will find numerous cafés in the medina that are also great places to work. The best way to get around the area is on foot, as everything is within easy reach. Buses and shared taxis connect the city with the surrounding regions, taxis are inexpensive and widely available, and those who wish to can explore the coast or the hinterland by rental car. An SUV is not necessary for this. There are plenty of shopping opportunities: just five minutes away is the daily market, where local farmers offer fresh fruit, vegetables, organic meat and freshly caught fish. The nearest Monoprix supermarket is about a ten to fifteen-minute walk away, and Carrefour is about twenty minutes away. There are also numerous restaurants, bars and cafés in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation – you practically step out the door and find yourself in the middle of the city's culinary life. Many attractions, museums and craft shops are just a few minutes away, and tour operators pick up our guests directly from the accommodation to take them to places such as Ichkeul National Park or the surrounding beaches.
