Bamboo Jungle Villas

Philippines
Villa / Cabins

Bamboo Jungle Villas is a nature-inspired boutique property nestled in the lush greenery just outside El Nido Town, Palawan. Built from locally sourced bamboo, nipa, and natural materials, the villas offer a genuine tropical escape with real comfort underneath. Think birdsong in the morning, palms overhead, and a slow pace that actually lets you reset. It's a small, intimate property, which means personal attention and a genuinely local feel rather than a hotel experience. For digital nomads planning an extended stay, we've got you covered. The villas run on fast Starlink Wi-Fi, reliable enough for video calls, uploads, and everything in between. We also have a partnership with a nearby coworking space for members who want a dedicated desk, a change of scenery, or a proper work setup away from the villa. Getting Here El Nido is served by regular van and bus transfers from Puerto Princesa Airport (roughly 5 to 6 hours), with several daily departures. From El Nido Town proper, the villas are a short tricycle or tuk-tuk ride away. We can help arrange airport or port transfers through our trusted local transport partners, just let us know your arrival details and we'll sort it. Local Transport for Nomads Getting around El Nido is easy and affordable. Tricycles and habal-habal (motorbike taxis) are available throughout the day for short hops into town. For longer exploration, we can connect you with local bike hire and e-bike rental so you can move at your own pace. Regular bus and van services run routes to other parts of Palawan if you're planning side trips. Supermarkets, Restaurants & Everyday Life El Nido Town centre is just a short ride away, with local markets, supermarkets, pharmacies, and a great range of restaurants and cafes. Food delivery also reaches the area. For nomads on longer stays, stocking up on basics is easy and the town has everything you need day to day. Activities & Places of Interest El Nido is one of the Philippines' most celebrated destinations, and the villas sit right on the doorstep of it all. Island-hopping tours (including the famous Big and Small Lagoons) depart daily, with many operators offering pick-up close to the property. Beaches, hiking trails, snorkelling, and kayaking are all within easy reach. If you're here to work hard and explore harder, this is the spot.

The Overlook Port Barton

Philippines
Coliving

This nomad stay is a spacious 3-bedroom house in Paradise. Port Barton, Palawan. The house is a natural build, made from wood, Sawali and Amikan ( a type of local bamboo weaving), Filipino style, with plenty of balconies and shared spaces. The Overlook Port Barton overlooks the jungle, the Port Barton bay, and Mount Kapwas to the front and the pristine jungle and rice fields to the back. The loft room has its own office space and private balconies to the front and back. The first floor has a communal lounge and shared balconies to the front and back. The ground floor has a spacious shared kitchen, workspace, sitting area, and bathroom. Port Barton is easily accessible from both Puerto Princesa and El Nido airports, 3 hours by minivan from each. When you arrive in Port Barton our Filipino partner Alan can meet you at the bus station, and arrange motorbike hire, and or, a trike to The Overlook House. The house is a 5 walk up a hill from the dirt track off the main concrete road from the village. The Overlook house has Starlink WIFI, providing consistent strong connection in the house, across all floors, strongest on the front balcony area. There are many working spaces in the house, partnered with stunning views over nature. A great balance for online working and well-being. There are several small supermarkets 5 mins walk down the hill, ‘sari sari’s’ as they are known in The Philippines. They provide basic fruit and vegetables, canned and dry goods, soft drinks and alcohol, all very affordable. Refillable drinking water containers can easily be filled from the water station, our partner Alan can help with this. This is the best way to reduce single-use plastic waste in the village ?? We are lucky to be 5 mins walk from many lovely restaurants, both Filipino and international. We have a cold water washing machine at the house, and a cleaner who can offer laundry services for our guests. There are also laundry services in the village, again 5 mins walk down the hill towards the centre of the village.
