Odessa is a port city on the Black Sea in southern Ukraine. The City is known for its beaches and 19th-century architecture, including the Odessa Opera and Ballet Theater. The monumental Potemkin Stairs, immortalized in "The Battleship Potemkin," lead down to the waterfront with its Vorontsov Lighthouse. Running parallel to the water, the grand Primorsky Boulevard is a popular promenade lined with mansions and monuments.

DREAM Hostel - Odessa is great quality, good value hostel in central Odessa. Across from Cathedral Square in the city centre, this low-key hostel is a 5-minute walk from Derybasivska Street, and 2 km from the 19th-century Potemkin Stairs. The Hostel is only a 2-minute walk from a tram stop. The rooms have lockers, curtains on your bed and a socket. There is 3 bathrooms on each floor that are clean and very livable. And laundry, that is very useful. On the top floor, there is a lovely well-equipped kitchen and lounge area where you can buy drinks. Simple, colourful mixed-gender or female-only dorms offer bunk beds, reading lights and privacy curtains, plus Wi-Fi access, linens and lockers. Bathrooms are shared. Private rooms add air-conditioning; family rooms have en suite bathrooms. A coworking space in the common area makes for a good place to work and connect with others. There’s a modest courtyard, a lounge with a flat-screen TV, and a shared kitchen. Very friendly staff and so much to explore.
