This Nomad Stay is in the Alps, in a medium-sized country town, in a nice quiet place which allows you to work, rest and dream in calm. Surrounded by mountains and forests the Yenne region is perfect for relaxation and contemplation, but close to major cities if you need (Geneva, Lyon, Chambéry) In this apartment (70m2), you will find everything you need: 2 bedrooms, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a TV, the Wi-Fi but also a large exterior place (with table and barbecue). You could walk to do your shopping because, in the pretty village of Yenne, you will find many local suppliers (bakeries, groceries, butcheries...), pharmacies, doctors, banks, bars and restaurants and a large supermarket within walking range. If you need a bigger town, you can travel to Belley (15 minutes) or Chambéry (25 minutes) by car or by bus. To access your stay in Yenne: - you can come in your car, moto or bike or hiking the Compostela (minimum stay is one week). - there are 3 airports within 1 hour drive nearby: Lyon, Genova, Chambéry - you can travel by train (Lyon is 1 hour, Paris 3 hours on TGV). The stations near Yenne are Chambéry or Aix les Bains or Culoz (I can pick you up at the stations). What could you do around here if you don't work all the time? - There are a lot of possibilities to walk, ride a VTT or run (lots of indicated paths, and also the way to famous Compostela walking trail). - You can also bicycle around the region (I can lend you one). - You can fish or do canoe on the Rhône, the river in Yenne - In summer you can swim in 4 lakes, hike, and climb. - And in winter you can ice-skate in the famous place called "la Féclaz", or ski or hike with snowshoes. You can count on me to help and guide you during your stay. I can just tell you: come and sure you will like this place.
