Events such as the ViNomad retreat, scheduled for September 30 to October 6, 2024, exemplify this unique blend of work and leisure. During this week-long event, nomads will have the opportunity to network with fellow professionals while enjoying guided tours of local vineyards and culinary workshops that showcase Istrian cuisine. This combination of productivity and adventure is designed to foster creativity and collaboration among participants. Moreover, Central Istria's enchanting towns—such as Pazin and Motovun—offer a wealth of history and culture to explore during downtime. Lupa Home in Sustainable Village

Lupa is one of 3 apartments in our renovated stone house for guests in TINY SUSTAINABLE VILLAGE of total 5 houses. It is located near Lupoglav town in central Istrian region hugged by mountains Ucka and Cicarija. It's the biggest (app. 75 sq meters) and on three levels with terrace and fireplace. With bedroom on upper level with roof window for watching wind in trees, kitchen and living room on entrance level and bathroom, spare room, day bed and fireplace are on bottom level it also has the door that leads directly to the garden from this bottom level where you can enjoy true rural vibes, calmness in hammocks or sitting at wooden table under a wild chestnut tree. Our village has remodelled barn that used to be house for cows and now is multifunctional space for workshops, teambuildings, intimate celebrations and also as a workspace. Lupoglav town is easily accessible by high way and local roads to Zagreb, Ljubljana, Trieste, Venice, Pula and Rijeka. Lupoglav is 2 km from our village and it's in 15 minutes of walking distance. * Lupoglav has a bus/train station that provides connections with Rijeka and Istrian cities and villages on its route. Next to the town hall and grocery shop 2 e-bikes can be rented and also bring to the train if you want to explore more places in a day. Regular bikes can be rented at Pazin, Opatija or Rijeka and most of them will bring them on your address. * Car is very convient in this rural hilly area but it can be managed even without it. Using trains, buses or walking to the next place gives special authentic feeling and experience and it's not that uncommon giving this area is full of walking, hiking and bike trails. * There are 2 grocery shops in Lupoglav and bigger supermarkets can be found (the nearest) in Buzet which is 15 min away by car or in Labin, Pazin. This area is famous for local family owned restaurants called konobas that serve local, home-made and seasonal food. The nearest is in Lupoglav (2 km away). If you love to be outdoor here you will find many beautiful medival little towns on top of the hills that are reachable also with hiking trails. And once you are there, comfortably tired you will find a local restaurant with home-made pasta and seasonal dishes (with pumpkin, truffles, asparagus, mushrooms...). As we are surrounded by 2 mountains there are numerous paths you can discover with the views that will leave you in awe - looking over a bay with islands, a Istrian region and green hills and view that spreads to the Venice and Alps (on a clear day, especially after a strong wind called 'bura'). Our village gives you experience of slow living, enjoying the beauty each of the seasons bring - from foraging on meadows and local forest, gardening and enjoying the fruits of it - baske of fresh products we grew for your own daily cooking or having a cooking experiences in interactive and authentic way, taking a part in olive harvest to taking a part in awakening of this tiny village from a long sleep through renovation projects (eg. learning how to make a dry stone wall or repurposing some object for a new function

Rose Sustainable Holiday Home

Rose is one of 3 apartments in our renovated stone house for guests in TINY SUSTAINABLE VILLAGE of total 5 houses. It is located near Lupoglav town in central Istrian region hugged by mountains Ucka and Cicarija. With app. 55 sq meters it is spread on 2 levels with patio entrance and position to welcome morning and mid-day sun. It looks over a shared garden where you can enjoy. * Bedroom has a bed for 2 persons (160x200cm) that can be also turn into 2 single beds and in living room a pull-out day bed (160x200cm) * Rose has a drying rack but doesn't have washing machine - laundry service drying machine can be found in Pazin, Buzet and Labin (all within 15-25 min of driving distance). * fully equiped kitchen (original and modern one) Our village has remodelled barn that used to be house for cows and now is multifunctional space for workshops, teambuildings, intimate celebrations and also as a workspace.
