Farmstay

Welcome to our spacious farmhouse apartment in the heart of the Black Forest. The apartment is located in the former hayloft of a 250-year-old traditional Black Forest farmhouse and combines historic charm with modern comfort. With around 120 sqm, it offers large, open spaces rather than many small rooms, creating a calm and airy atmosphere. You will find one cozy bedroom and a very large open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area with panoramic views over the valley of Triberg and the surrounding mountains. The private terrace offers the same breathtaking views and is perfect for relaxing after a productive day. The apartment is fully self-contained with a private entrance, kitchen, and bathroom. For remote work, the apartment is well equipped with two dedicated workspaces – one in the living area and one in the bedroom. Both desks offer plenty of space, good lighting, and power access, and one includes a flatscreen. High-speed fiber Wi-Fi ensures a fast and reliable connection for video calls and focused work. The house is located in a peaceful, secluded setting. Absolute quiet is part of the experience – on calm days, you can even hear the distant sound of the Triberg waterfalls. At the same time, you are close to everything you need. The town of Triberg is just down the hill and offers supermarkets (Lidl and Edeka), a bakery, restaurants, and a weekly market. The train station is within walking distance, although the way back includes a short uphill walk. For exploring the region, having a car is recommended. The location is ideal for discovering the Black Forest. Hiking trails start directly at the doorstep, the famous Triberg waterfalls are nearby, and highlights like the open-air museum in Gutach, wellness spas around Titisee, and a natural swimming lake in the neighboring village are all within easy reach. Guests also have access to a washing machine with a separate entrance, as well as a private parking space. We live on the same farm in a separate apartment. Friendly animals such as Icelandic horses, dogs, and cats are part of daily life here. Guests are welcome to interact with them if they wish – but of course, this is completely optional. This is a place for those who appreciate nature, space, and tranquility – while still staying connected and comfortable for longer stays and remote work.
