Description

About Your Stay Chateau Zoric is a private retreat in the hills beneath Mount Dinara, overlooking the Cetina Valley and the historic town of Vrlika in inland Dalmatia. Completely renovated in 2025, the house offers two bedrooms, four beds and a private terrace surrounded by nature. This is a place for people who want to combine remote work with a quieter way of living. There is plenty of privacy and space to disconnect after work, with mountain and valley views, peaceful walks directly from the house and nature all around. Sometimes, you may even see rabbits, deer or other wildlife passing by. The house is approximately 5 km from the main D1 road. A car is recommended, as this is a rural location rather than a town-centre stay. Vrlika and the surrounding area offer a very different experience from the busy Croatian coast, while the coast and larger towns can still be reached by car for day trips. Wi-Fi & Workspace The house has a dedicated indoor workspace with a desk, office chair and high-speed internet connection, suitable for remote work, video calls and everyday online work. In addition, there is a separate workspace just outside the main house. This bright, quiet room has a large south-facing glass wall, a desk, chair and power connection. It can be used as a private home office, meeting room or simply as an additional place to work away from the main living space. The peaceful surroundings make it easy to work without the noise and distractions common in larger towns or tourist centres. Wi-Fi performance is regularly tested so guests can have a realistic idea of the connection before arrival. Getting Around A car or a bike is recommended for staying at Chateau Zoric. The house is in a rural setting beneath Dinara, with Vrlika and local services a short drive away. The area is particularly well suited to guests who enjoy hiking, cycling, exploring by car and spending time in nature. Dinara, the Cetina Valley and Peruća Lake are all within easy reach. Groceries, Restaurants & Everyday Life Vrlika provides services needed for everyday life, including shops, cafés and restaurants. For a larger choice of supermarkets, restaurants and other services, guests can drive to nearby towns. The house is designed for an independent stay, with a guest kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. Laundry A washing machine is available at the property, making the house suitable for longer stays without the need for external laundry services. Life Outside Work Chateau Zoric is particularly suited to digital nomads who want their time outside work to feel very different from their working day. You can hike in the surrounding mountains, cycle through the countryside, visit Peruća Lake, explore the Cetina Valley and historic Vrlika, or simply sit on the terrace and enjoy the landscape and silence. Rather than being surrounded by nightlife and crowds, Chateau Zoric offers something increasingly difficult to find: a quiet place where you can work, live and spend your free time in nature.
